Bokuto Koutarou x Transgender Boyfriend

• Bokuto is his boyfriend’s personal bodyguard. If his bf is having issues or doesn’t want to walk down the hall alone, Bokuto escorts him. No matter what. If Bokuto’s unavailable, he makes sure a member of the team is there in his place.
  
• The volleyball captain is constantly looking out for his boyfriend, checking up on him, sneaking in sticky notes with cute messages in his notebooks, sending out good morning/goodnight texts- you name it and Bokuto does it.
• Bokuto uses the correct pronouns from day one and refuses to let himself slip up.
• He doesn’t question his boyfriend’s transition, he doesn’t even really bring it up. Bokuto trusts that if his boyfriend ever wants to talk about it, he will. Until then, it doesn’t matter and all Bokuto wants to do is love him.
• However, along with that, Bokuto is curious and will admit that he would like to know the details. He emphasizes, though, that he doesn’t need to know them at all.
  
• Bokuto’s number one concern is his boyfriend’s safety. If his bf hasn’t had top surgery and/or can’t afford or have access to a binder, Bokuto will buy it for him no questions asked.
• Bokuto’s bubbly and excited nature helps make the atmosphere comfortable between the two.
• The volleyball team joins Bokuto in protecting Bokuto’s bf safe. If they hear or witness the bf being bullied, oh boy shit’s about to go down.
• Bokuto supports his boyfriend no matter what. He reminds him that he is valid and that what people say doesn’t matter. He’s there for him, always.
• Bokuto will literally fight someone right then and there if he sees someone bully his boyfriend. Akaashi would have to pull him away. (What, Bokuto has to defend his bf’s honor ya know ^^)
• During the times Bokuto is dejected, simply seeing his boyfriend will bring his happy mood right back.
  
• He makes sure to let his boyfriend know that if he ever needs anything, he need only ask and Bokuto will do his goddamn best to get it for him.
  
• As a “fuck you” to the bullies, Bokuto will wrap an arm around his bf’s waist or hug him in the middle of the hall (as long as his boyfriend is comfy with that).
• He just really loves his boyfriend ok
